Markets May Remain Strong On Positive Asian Markets And FII & PRO Being Net Buyer Of More Than One Lakh Contracts In Index Option
Markets may remain strong on positive Asian markets and FII & PRO being a net buyer of more than one lakh contracts in Index option. The Indian Benchmark Index Nifty 50 gained 1.58% in the last week. The Index closed at 11035 after making a high of 11089. The upside movement of the Index was lead by the big players FII and PRO in the market as they bought 111607 contracts in Index options after the end of Feb 18 Nifty Expiry.
Markets may remain strong on positive Asian markets and FII & PRO being a net buyer of more than one lakh contracts in Index option. The Indian Benchmark Index Nifty 50 gained 1.58% in the last week. The Index closed at 11035 after making a high of 11089. The upside movement of the Index was lead by the big players FII and PRO in the market as they bought 111607 contracts in Index options after the end of Feb 18 Nifty Expiry.
If Nifty starts moving upwards, a key resistance level to watch out is 11120. However if Nifty breaks 11120 the next monthly level is 11750. For Smallcap Index 6500 may act as resistance, However, if small cap Index breaks 6500 levels then the next weekly level is 6930. Asian markets are trading higher this morning as which may support Indian markets to rise further as Indexes are outperforming global markets. However, US Indexes fell for a fifth straight session on Friday and posted their biggest weekly declines, as disappointing exports data from China as well as weak U.S. jobs figures added to investor concerns over cooling global growth.
The Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has come into force after the Election Commission of India said that the country would vote in seven phases from April 11 to May 19. The code bars the government from announcing any policy decisions. All the sectors were positive in the last week. Infra, Fertilizers, and Chemicals are in the top among the major sectors and Films, Packaging and Gold and Jewelry among the minors.

The US 10 Year T-Note is trading at 122.65. The Bond has broken its important low of 120.03 on 2nd Oct 2018. The US Dollar Index is trading at 97.363.
